Saddle hing
Has any one got a photo of a seat hinge for a 1947 g3l IV got the saddle + springs but I don’t know what the hinge looks like help

Saddle hing
Its not a hinge as such, just basically two strips of metal two rivets under the nose of the saddle, with a hole for the bolt through the frame.
Usually one side is threaded so you can tighten it and still have a degree of movement, it'll lock other wise.
I will post a pic tomorrow as I have one off right now.

front bracket is 3 in by 1 1/4 inch note the offset; it is possible to play about with the length of these and the top L shape rear spring mounts to move the saddle back a bit for a more comfortable riding position
