Can anybody tell me whether I have a Mk1 or Mk 2 G15? Also, answers to the following queries would be much appreciated:
- if I want to order frame, engine parts etc, is the spares scheme helpful, or would I have more success with specialist Norton suppliers such as Norvil?
- when ordering from Norvil, which engine name or type do I refer to?
- I want to fit a new single monobloc - which model do I order and what jet sizes do I need?
- where is it best to order transfers?

As you will know, the engine is straight Norton Atlas, as are the brakes and wheels at each end. The frame is AJS Matchless. For spares Norville can help with all engine parts and supply a CD with all their spares listed. Very useful! The Club spares can help with most running gear and Russells at Clapham Junction are very good. If you want to know what is correct for your machine Hycam know everything there is to know about Hybrids. Come to Calne next year and see more Hybrids than you will ever see anywhere else!

The 1962-63 G15/45 would be the Mark 1 G15, this was the over bored G12 engine that was exported to North America. The G15 Mk 2 was introduced in 1964, hence the name Mk2 and this used the Norton 750 Atlas engine, with the Norton AMC gearbox, and alloy primary chain case, with the longer Norton Roadholder forks, and wheels.There is a road test in the then current magazines, like Motorcycle Mechanics, as well as some American magazines. The G15 Mk2 was built to pull sidecars. AMC, Berliner, and the Norton Matchless Division also issued allot of sales brochures for this particular model.

I get most of the parts I need for my G15CS from Andover Norton, not cheap but at least you can be sure of the quality.
