A Club Member informs me he read in todays newspaper that Footman James had gone into liquidation. Can anyone confirm this?

I'd be surprised. F-J is 'only' a trading name of Aon Limited, who are quite large.

I have just insured 3 bikes with them so i think they should be ok ( not that my premium would keep them afloat)

F-J gave me a quote this afternoon. They wanted 50% more than my current insurer. Another broker I tried offered the same disincentive

Guess I'll be staying put again this year.

Footman James is only the broker. Its the actual insurance company that covers the bike so if the rumour is true there should be no problem...........................................hopefully
