Light snow here yesterday. Still, I went out to top up the

peanuts for the Woodpecker. He gets through an awful lot. Still, I'm sure he appreciates it!

Best wishes, Chris.

Chris.

I was a contract technician on the Atlantic Missile Range. The headquarters is in Cape Carnival, (Canaveral to outsiders), Florida but I was staioned at various islands in what was then the British West Indies & Puerto Rico, and finally on a tracking ship home ported in Recife, Brazil.

With dire times in Northwestern England in the mid-50s, Paddy's father, a weaving specialist, accepted a General Manager position at a very large weaver's in Recife. Although Paddy had graduated nursing school & had served her internship at a hospital in Rochdale, she pursued a new career in business managment. She was the contract office manager & translator for the same company as myself in Recife.

Her parents were members of the British Country Club & Paddy & I were frequent guests where we partied on. The rest is history.

She likes the California weather & won't leave again.

Cheers, Don.
