Spacer Dimensions

Post by Duncan »

Has anybody got a 650 alternator twin apart at the moment? I need to know the dimensions of the spacer that fits on the drive side axle between the sprocket and rotor (025034 – Spacer, Generator Rotor).

I have just fitted a replacement crankshaft and the existing non standard arrangement seems short as the release valve bottoms out before it is all tight, odd it was never a problem with the old crankshaft.

If you don't get an answer, space it so that the rotor is centered in the stator. You will have to reference to the gasket surface.

Cheers, Don.
