Can someone enlighten me about the SR1 magneto, is there a governor in it?
There used to be a site called the AJS and Matchless archives but since of late the site has been down. I should have downloaded the SR1 magneto manual off that site...oh well! I wonder if anyone has downloaded it and if so could I have a copy of it?

If by "governor", you mean the auto advance, (AA), unit, it is part of the magneto sprocket, inside the bulge at the top of the magneto chain case. The SR1 does not have an AA unit inside the mag itself.
