Dynamo armature replacement

Cheers. Of course, I betray my ignorance. We're not in the world of direct lighting, energy transfer systems and all that stuff with alternators. I'm just glad to have the magneto and be able to run the engine regardless of dynamo / battery. Got the latter from JSL and it's worked very well.
Any thoughts about changing the bearings regardless? My inclination is not to. They're running smoothly and I can feel no slackness in them, dismantling was done with puller not violence and I do pulling / pressing sloooowly to give time rather than wind furiously.
