Jampot rallies

As a bit of light relief from the weighty topics normally discussed, when and where was the first Jampot rally? Additionally, where were subsequent rallies held, I know 2001 - 2006, 2002 is a bit hazy, being I think in the 'Preston area'.

I have 'Googled' and searched the Club website and came up with a big fat zero, apart from the Preston reference.

1995 Pateley Bridge
1996 Mersea Island
1997 Dove Holes (What an experience that was!!!!)
1998
1999
2000 Wellingborough
2001 Hadlow
2002 Bilsborrow
2003 Gillingham
2004 Brentwood
2005 Sparsholt
2006 Brough
2007 Woodbridge, barring disasters.

I believe 1998 and 1999 were in Brighton and Wolverhampton, but I don't know which was which. The Beverley Jampot was in 1990 or 1991 I think.

To help you fill in the gaps in your list. the Jampots in the90s were:
1990 Beverley racecourse
1991 Goulceby, Lincs
1992 Towcester racecourse
1993 Okehampton
1994 Wrexham RUFC,then
1998 Wolverhampton RUFC
1999 Plumpton College, Sussex

and they were all brilliant!!

Excellent, thanks both, that just leaves a 34 year gap between 1956 and 1990.

Thanks Les, that narrows the gap down to 24, couldn't find ? on the map though.
