Disturbing old nuts...

Post by Roy Plowman »

Is it advisable/wise/standard practice to drain the sump at every oil change ('64 G3)?
The bike has an oil tap so doesn't wet sump; it was comprehensively rebuilt around 3,500 miles ago.

Yes the sump plug is magnetic and will be collecting any metal. Good idea to clean it off and find out how much is around.
