Thanks Andy! just waiting on the Tippex to dry

I have had this experience of a slipping sprocket. I discovered that the retaining nut was bottoming out on the lip at the end of the tapered shaft, preventing the sprocket from being fastened. I drilled out the retaining nut so as to allow the outer edge of the nut to press the sprocket onto the taper.

Problem solved, still does not run!! Thanks for all the replies!!
