I have ordered new petrol tank mounting rubbers, thick and thin and the 30mm diameter x 2mm thick stainless washers from the club spares scheme.
I also wanted the steel sleeves that pass through the rubbers but they are out of stock. Not a problem as I can make them on my lathe. Can anyone tell me the length I need to make them to get the correct amount of crush on the rubbers when the bolts are tightened.
