Hi!!
i´m looking for technical data on my 1954 ajs 18s
preferably to download from the web or if someone have something to send me on e-mail?
i need it to register my bike, it does not have to be signed or anything but if it has ajs logos or something änd is a scanned old paper it´s good
i have ti see:
wheight, wheelbase, power. tank volume and all that
anyone who can help a desperate brother?? :D :D

Welcome, Ulf.

If your machine was manufactured (manufactured, not registered) after Sept 1st 1954 it will be a 1955 model.
You can obtain the date of manufacture from the Club which holds the factory records.

Have a look at the site known as 'Christians Archive' in the link below.
Look under 'Books' then 'Owners Manual' where you will find the factory manuals which should give you all the info you need.

AMC were reluctant to release power (BHP) figures but there are references on the Web to a horsepower (HP) figure of 28.
Under 'Technical' you will find the info below. The '55 figure for wheelbase and weight will be much the same for your '54 model:
