I've traced round the plate...
It doesn't fit on my scanner, I'll take it to work and scan it there.
Any particular format?

Not on this one...
Duplex frames are '60 onwards so were alternator models.
Whether there were any CS models running a magneto and dynamo with a duplex frame... I don't know?
I could lay a plate with the dynamo cut out over and line up the holes and trace the dynamo cut out?

1955 Jampot.JPG
1956 Jampot.JPG
1957 Girling.JPG
1960 Duplex Girling.JPG
Looking at the parts lists and generalising it seems...
The front frame changed to a vertical seat tube and this style of engine plate in 1956, still with jampots.
Girlings introduced 1957.
Duplex frame with twin front downtubes introduced 1960.
So yes, this type of engine plate could have had a cut out for a dynamo, there are lots of different part numbers for the different models and years, I've no idea of the differences.
In the diagram, the slot in the dynamo cut out in this type of plate is in a different orientation than in the pre 1956 type plate that I overlaid. It looks to be rotated 90 degrees, but plotting it would involve a degree of guesswork.

Jpeg scan...
I used a pen that would lay down a line right to edge of the plate, so for the perimeter of the plate the inside edge of the line is the outside of the plate.
The principal dimensions were measured on the plate itself.
