Hi all.
Ajs 650 csr . Magneto model.
Does anyone know the size of the nut that holds the drive sprocket on the end of the crank ?
I sorted through all my sockets this afternoon and could find nothing to fit it. Very frustrating!
I dont want to use an open ended spanner so I'll buy a socket or a decent ring spanner. Can't really measure it accurately in situ .

Re: Drive sprocket nut
Hi I just thought I would refresh this question. I have tried to find the answer myself but no joy. None of the manuals seem to give sizes just say what needs to be done. Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can find the answer ?

Re: Drive sprocket nut
Just been in the garage and checked the spare ones I have. The dynamo one was 13/16 Whitworth and the alternator one 5/8 Whitworth
36mm should also work for the dynamo crank
