G2 miss fire

G2 miss fire
Hi I’ve recently got my 59 g2 going and it has a miss when cruising but not when under acceleration I have cleaned and re set the points gap and fitted new spark plug what else might be causing it?

Condenser ? Coil ? Try having a look there before making sure carb is thoroughly clean .

Possibly a loose connection in the ignition circuit or at the ignition switch.
Back when mother was a lad it took me a long time to discover the cause of a misfire on a top-of-the-range Bantam at certain cruising speeds.
I had several keys on the ignition keyring which jiggled vigorously in sympathy with certain cruising speed revs, intermittently jiggling the switch contacts.
