Currently rebuilding previous owner strip down. In the bag marked battery box is a deep dome headed 5/16 bolt, can somebody enlighten me as to where it goes. I did think it could be the battery box top mount but why use a special bolt? Also welded to left hand the seat rail above the side cover is a small bracket with two holes. What is its purpose?
Regards
Richard

Will check next time I'm in the garage but at the moment its NFI. What's the red coloured rose like thing under the battery? Are you using the old lounge curtains as rags?

Thanks Rob, so it is the bracket for the horn that was baffling me. Now just to find where the double depth done head bolt goes.
