Hi,
I am missing a crankcase bolt on the primary side , 042036 crankcase bolt long ,the club spares only sells the bolts in a set ,they are out of stock at the moment.
I just wonder does anyone know the length of the bolt and is the thread 5/16" B.S.F.

You don't say what year but if it's fifties /sixties the bolt measures 4 5/32x5/16x26 BSCY It has a thin head and don't use a washer under the head

Thanks for your reply ,sorry i forgot to put the model and year in the message.
It is a 1960 350 G5 looking at the parts list and exploded diagram there are six short crankcase bolts and washers and one long crankcase bolt and washer all have thin heads ,i could not find the parts list with the bolt size.
I measured the depth of the hole with a vernier it is 3 13/16 , i have made a blank bolt and need to order a die.
I shall continue searching through the parts lists in the archives.
