G5 Rear sprocket bolts
Hi All, Sorry a repeat question I know, but I thought I'd try one more time for the correct type of bolts.
Im restarting the G5 rebuild after a bit of a hiatus. I'm about to attach the rear wheel drive sprocket back to the wheel but realized I'm three nuts and bolts short. Looks like one of the previous owners used a mix of the correct sort and some odd ones he had. I cant find them on any of the spares sites, including ours. Does anybody know where I can get them from or, if someone has any spare, I'm more that happy to compensate. Thanks, Rob

Have you asked the helpful Steven Surbey at AMC Classic Spares? I gather he's particularly clued up on L/W stuff.Trebor160 wrote: I cant find them on any of the spares sites, including ours. Does anybody know where I can get them from....

As far as I can tell, the bolts are 5/8" x 1/4" BSF with reduced 5/16" head.
An alternative Norton part number is apparently 95-370247

Thanks all for the suggestions,
Paul (clanger9) would you know of a supplier who stocks Norton parts who may have the bolts?

Not sure if they'll stock cycle parts though.Trebor160 wrote: Paul (clanger9) would you know of a supplier who stocks Norton parts

Without wishing to drone on again, if it's part the club do not stock and a you have 3 out of the 6 bolts but cannot find the remainder anywhere, why not try to commission a batch and sell them to the club or ask for funding? It's the only way that L/W stock is going to improve.

I fully agree with you Rob and it occurs to me that since the readership of the Forums is relatively small perhaps a short article in the Jampot of the need and an explanation of potential funding and how to proceed might generate some helpful responses?ajscomboman wrote:Without wishing to drone on again, if it's part the club do not stock and a you have 3 out of the 6 bolts but cannot find the remainder anywhere, why not try to commission a batch and sell them to the club or ask for funding?
