I followed this multi session procedure and it worked perfectly, thankyou. The only smell remaining is from the lining compound but that is different from petrol odourPlugsnpoints wrote:
I stuck a domestic steamer nozzle in the tank, with both taps removed. It gets very warm and this helps. I did this for a few sessions, leaving it to breath for a few days after each clean. No smells remain.
