Re: New Carb
You need the first one. look out for a S/H one Maybe from AMC classic spares and then get Martyn Bratby to recon it for you..Oldcarguy wrote:Looking for a new carb for my Model 8 350 1961 this page shows that the one for my bike is out of stock will the one under it be ok

Re: New Carb
Club spares are listing the 1 1/8 new 389 carb as available and cheaper than the price on the page you referred to! You would need to ring to check what jet sizes and slide type are fitted to ensure it meets the spec for your bike

Re: New Carb
At the present time the club are the cheapest anywhere for all monoblocs and possibly others
why is it that most people on here always look to other suppliers first?

Because generally the club are not the cheapest supplier for many parts and rightly or wrongly, this ingrained perception of club spares has that effectraffles wrote:At the present time the club are the cheapest anywhere for all monoblocs and possibly others

Re: New Carb
Well that perception best change or there won't any more spares. We can't be the cheapest when our overheads are greater than other competitors. For L/W spares we're about the only supplier as AMC classics aren't overly worried about those models. Without the club spares securing Andrews remaining stock there'd be even less about.Ozmadman wrote:Because generally the club are not the cheapest supplier for many parts and rightly or wrongly, this ingrained perception of club spares has that effectraffles wrote:At the present time the club are the cheapest anywhere for all monoblocs and possibly others
