I am the proud owner of an ex-Tim Ramsay 500 special.
The engine is a '59 18CS but I wish to fit some normal touring cams which I recently bought.
Tim left me instructions to use no.2 spot on inlet and no1. spot on exhaust, but that produces ridiculous timing.
Also he wrote the inlet is a C1 and the zorst an SH, but in the bike was a SH on inlet and E on zorst.
Which timing marks should I use on the touring cams please?
Steve
