Warranty claim.

In my previous thread I have listed a few problems I have had with my 1957 AJS and the rough running.

I had a thought-why don't I contact the factory to see if they could help as a matter of goodwill, as it's just out of warranty.

To cut a long story short, I have written to them, sent several emails, and tried to call the customer care line.

Nothing, no reply or acknowledgment from Plumstead. :|

Has anyone else had a similar experience with AMC?

You should have tried sending a telegram to ICANHOPIT WOL-London, you may have got a return notice saying they've hop'd it

I tried to visit the factory at the end of the eighties for advice on carbs only to find they'd camouflaged it as a housing estate. How rude! Skip forward thirty years and I discover they now reside in China!
