Local mechanic

Are there any local mechanics you guys use in the area. I need my forkseals replacing on a model 14 250cc

You mentioned on your other thread that yours is an early M14 with the James forks so they may need different knowledge. Later models have heavyweight forks of which which more people, even me, have experience. However, even if yours were like mine, I don't think describing the trials and tribulations I went through during the process of changing a seal would be encouraging, except that I actually finished the job. Unless you want a laugh, that is.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. What I should have said was that yours are not like mine because mine are the later forks. Therefore, even if they were like mine, I doubt if you would learn anything from my experience other than what the regulars here already know, ie despite my enthusiasm, mechanicking is not a forte of mine.
