Hello again. Anyone know the dimensions of this item of beauty?

Nothing too indepth just length, width, depth

500's were all the same for a few years except model 10. ( 350's smaller ) Position of filler caps and oil pump may vary, Hole centres should be the same. Length depth and width will vary, so you will need to know from where measurements are taken. I will measure tomorrow.

Cheers Rob, I don't need info about filler cap positions etc just the over all dimensions so that I can work to ratios.

Please see above pics for approx. dimensions. Some dimensions can be judged by how tight the tank fits between the frame tubes e.g depth.Which is about the same until the rear slope, to get angle. Front and back by position in relation to frame parts. Headstock at front to judge radius. Internal division for oil / petrol by capacity,, Note the tank has metal box for knee grips. My bike has originals. They are not solid rubber like repros. They have a wooden oval block onto which a rubber pad is fixed. This fits in the metal box secured by two wood screws through the plate into the wood front and back. Hope this helps. Rob.
