Just to wrap this one up - I'm now the happy owner of an HJC FG70S purchased from J & S, thanks again to MalcW and Dave for their recommendations.
I must admit, I was surprised at the 'range' of fitting comfort and the HJC was the best by some way, I can get my specs on after fitting the helmet and the flip down visor clears them nicely. The added bonus was it came in £30 cheaper than I had budgeted - so I broke the budget by buying a set of gloves
Down side is that now I've seen the range of other goodies on offer I'm sure this won't be my last visit to them.
