Lucas connector alternative

I'm restoring my -54 G3 and found a really nice alternative to Lucas bullet connectors. They are used in radio controlled toys nowadays. I bought a bag of them from ebay. Gold plated (won't corrode), spring loaded (good connection), cheap, very similar to the original, comes with matching female connectors too.
I also replaced the dynamo connectors with a bigger model:
I really like to keep things as close to what my bike was in the 50's, but I also want to be able to use it. Lucas original connectors are crap and largely to blame for his "prince of darkness" reputation in my opinion...
