afternoon , i have just bought a model 33csr and no nothing about these , first thing i need is a manual/parts list , then i can start a rebuild, can anyone point me in the right direction ??

No fully illustrated parts list was ever printed which is a pain, the Master Parts List in the archives is all there is.
Clymer did a decent manual, not easy to find.
Adverts on Archives page are very useful to see what it is supposed to look like.
If the club spares do not stock what you need, Andover Norton stock everything that wears out.

Circa 1960 Parts lists with illustrations seemed to end, from then on came supplement lists of parts that differ. So you do need the last illustrated parts list, to use with supplement. Where you will see illustrations of parts that were unchanged only. From about 1960 when illustrations in parts list stopped. Illustrations were continued in instruction and workshop manual books. They were however in the form of " exploded drawings " In AJS & Matchless parts lists, they did not state where to find illustrations. The only AMC parts list I am aware of that did tell, was in the Matchless badged James 150 cc bike called Pinto for the American Indian company distributors. See below, it even tells the page where you will find illustrations. So check out Instruction and workshop manuals, for post 1960 illustrations. Although you will not find them in the same individual detail, as pre 1960 parts lists.

There's not too much on the 1960 list that applies to the Norton Atlas engined bikes Rob, mechanically at least. For engine, forks, hubs etc you are better off using a Norton Atlas list/manual.

Not a lot of illustrations anything post 1960 Peter. Note the book below. Just 10 pages of it. Note the last page is numbered 82. So much of this book is missing. It is outside the era I know well, so I have no idea of what literature is available. Unlike prewar for which I have actually got all known to exist literature. Took about 30 years finding it, but nothing much undiscovered turns up now.

morning gentlemen , thank you for all the replys , looks like ive got another 'easy' restoration ! having just finished a p11 , an ex motorcycle shop customer told me a bout this bike belonging to a good friend of his who has recently passed away(sheffield) , i went to buy it hoping it was another p11/n15 as he told me it had an atlas engine and amc frame , which it has ! so after getting it back to the workshop and finding the eng/frame numbers it turns out to be what it is , not sure if im happy or disappointed with it as was hoping for another p11 , but will continue and restore it i suppose !! cafe racers style is not really me , but pictures ive seen are of a nice bike and its blue which the wife likes !!

There isn't really much more in there about the hybrid models, apart from forks, gearbox and clutch, that's generally available.... probably why that's all there is in the archives.
