Fork seal replacement starts with extension removal which can prove stubborn. Thanks then to Andy51 for his tip some years ago to use a jubilee clip round a piece of inner tube in turn around the extension : http://www.jampot.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... f5#p104828
I can say, having just tried it, that it works a treat, no marks to the chrome and little effort required. Top tip!
