This belonged to my father P D Pratt in about 1959 when at Nottingham University. We would both dearly like to know if she still exists. Aluminium tank, rigid rear end with upswept exhaust (C model possibly?)

The Sticky post at the top of this forum has a link to the DVLA that enables you to check if a vehicle is still recorded in the system. I checked for you and PXL 991 is not on record. This does mean the bike is deceased just not recorded in the DVLA system.

Sorry Alan very definitely 'DOES NOT MEAN' should have ben used. There must be thousands of bikes that are not recorded in the DVLA system that are still alive and well. You can only use the enquiry to determine a positive result after that its just down to good luck if can find what you are looking for.

Thank you Biscuit and Eric - I had the same result on the DVLA site before posting on the forum.
