I have a concentric on my 55 16ms and it starts easy ticks over and runs very nice

OK a few are using concentric carbies but what type and jet settings.

My 1953 model 16 runs a Concentric ( The Wassal replacement ) - 26mm bore
Jetted at
160 Main
106 Needle
Throttle slide 3

It tick's over and run's fine on that , but that's how it arrived and I haven't tried to alter any of these .

I would be interested if anyone else has tuned their concentric ,
and what jets they're using .
I just left mine as it came .
as it ran a sight better than with the old ( very tired ) monobloc .

Bob, your main jet sounds way too small. 1955 350 main jet is 210 on a monobloc, so try 250 on your concentric.

Got a second email today from Andy Barlow at Amal he said a 626/300 with a standard 160 main jet will do the job.
