Hi newbie to the club just thought I'd introduce myself. Had Ajs matchless machines for a few years now ( also royal Enfield but that's another story ). I enjoy the lightweight bikes and have a 1960 G2 and a bitsa 1959 model 14 engine in a matchless CSR frame . Just in the process of giving the matchless a light overhaul ATM as gearbox problem stopped play ! Hope I can meet up with some club members in the future I'm based in Essex .

Why not join the club Chris. There is a very active section in Essex, you will find a fair number of helpful members attending two evenings a month. Also Sunday morning runs. Plus mid week daytime meets and runs in summer for those retired. Not too mention your circle of friends will be greatly increased. No problems if you visit the section by car in the dark evenings. Most of prefer not to get cold and wet.

Welcome to the club, Chris! Glad to hear you're a Lightweight fan.
Any chance of posting some photos of your bikes? It's always good to see what else is out there...
