Idle quality and petrol leaks

Hi All,
Well, finally bit the bullet to cure several issues with my G3 that resisted all attempts to cure.
After reading many posts about the same problems others were having with leaky and hard to operate petrol taps, worn old Monobloc carbs and scattergun idle quality, it was time to place another order with the good folks at AMOC spares.
So just finished swapping the brass petcock taps which were impossibly stiff, for nice new plated ones using Dowty washers to seal them to the tank to get rid of the old, rubbery, leaky ones and thus preventing the garage filling with fumes and becoming a real fire risk!
Also a nice, new Monobloc re-jetted as per my request with a 200 main jet (air filter fitted), and after a quick swarf check and blow through, working perfectly with no leaks and serving up a swiss watch like, LOL, tick over. What a transformation. Should have swapped it long ago.
Thanks to the people at AMOC spares for yet another spot on, lightening fast order turnaround.
