Certainty on many models of Rudges "Compression" plates were fitted as standard, these could be removed in the pursuit of more speed and power.

I thought divers would be more interested in decompression.

much incorrect terminology is now used in the English language, in particular by the BBC who at one time were sticklers for correct and concise English but no longer, anyway you are correct it is of no consequence really and I'm bored with the topic :rofl: !

oh come on guys I was just going to get the popcorn sorted and settle into a comfy seat! Talking of popcorn, what would the compression need to be in sealed cylinder to prevent popcorn popping in it when heated?

No no no..........

On our old bikes definitely condensers and they use accumulators with globes in the lights.

I heard it on the wireless ;)
