AJS & Matchless Owners Club

Hi all I am trying to trace the first owner of the AJS we have just acquired we are only the 4th owner and know of the previous 2 all local to us so it would be nice to find the first

CYY was a London reg. no. issued in blocks 1961/62 London records are not known to have survived. So tracing the first owner will be difficult. You could try club dating to certify to who/dealer the bike was supplied to via factory records.

Not if you don't have a frame number.

The member has the bike, so should be able to find the frame number.
