Try F W THORNTON They are based in Telford Shropshire, carry large stocks of new old stock. They have a web site.

Did you manage to get the rings you wanted from Thorntons may I ask? If not did you find another source? They seem to be difficult to come by, I'm looking for 72mm +020.

You could try Cox and Turner, very good to deal with.

Just to say that I can confirm Cox and Turner are very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable people. They knew instantly what was required and I have now sent off a set of my old rings for them to replicate as the originals are now virtually unobtainable. The compression rings on these BHB pistons are much thinner than the normal Hepolite/welworthy items. The pistons are flat topped but protrude above the barrel spigot and I assume they are the original 8.5 CR albeit replacements at +020".

Thanks to the forum and to Roy and Dudley who directed me to this firm. :D

I also ordered rings for my 31CSR form Cox and Turner on the advice of Roy.

Ordered them Thursday afternoon and they arrived Saturday morning.... AND they had to grind them before posting them out so they'd fit narrow grooved BHB pistons.

Great service, and not at all expensive.
