Demagnetised rotor help

Hi,
I have found that direct out my altenater I'm only getting 5.7volts and according to the workshop manual it should be around 6.2-6.8 volts, the manual then goes on to say that the cause of low voltage direct from the altenater is due to a demagnetised rotor and to send the rotor back to wipac for remagnetisation.!
Does anyone know where or how I can get the rotor remagnetise.
Many thanks mat.

I had the same problem with my lucas on a 650 CSR. I got a new one over the counter from club spares.. Quicker and did not cost much more, by saving two lots of postage, to get the old reconed.

You won't get one from the club for a lightweight as it's a Wipac unit. Not sure if anyone sells replacements for these.
