Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and after some 35 years I have just returned to motorcycling. I recently found this photo, probably from around 1958, I'm riding pillion here, and wondered if there is enough detail here for you experts to tell me what model this is, in fact any information would be gratefully received.

Well I'll have a go at an AJS model 18 500cc from about 1946. Registered in Dudley? Great picture!

Nice old photo. Cannot add much to the previous comment except. 1947 started with GFD 660, ending GFD 999 in April 1947. So the bike could be a 1947 model. Or 46 if it stood in a shop unsold for a few months.
