Paul, I went through the light weight parts list , listing all fittings and sizes. ( Only sizes that were actually published in parts lists )
I am not sure how far I got, as I gave up due to lack of interest from members at the time. I am not sure if I saved any scans or files.
Is it worth me looking? I do recall giving Janet something at a meeting but I have no idea what the info was.

Hi Rob, I'll have a look at the list and see if I can complete it. Lightweight stud/bolt sizes seem to be common question (I've asked plenty on here!), so it'll be worth doing.
I'll take your spreadsheet as a starting point and see what I can add...

Paul was it yourself that first brought up the question of fitting sizes? You mentioned " my spread sheet " I do recall sending something I started on to just one person. Perhaps yourself ? I have had a quick look and cannot find anything filed.
It would be nice if you could add something, how ever little it may be, it all helps. As I have said earlier, most std fittings with a number prefixed with enough zero's to make a 6 digit number, will have the sizes given in the Master parts list here. old number will be just the number prefixed STD ( example STD 3 = 000003 new pt.no.)

I don't think it was me, but I have asked a number of questions here on the subject. I did start to make a list, so I'll merge what I've got with your parts list & get it uploaded to the archives.

extracting all the studs from the 1960 lightweight parts list is quite easy. I found 33. I have added some sizes to arrive at 11 out of 33 now have sizes. To save confusion we do need to use AMC description and pt. no. LIGHT WEIGHT STUD LIST BELOW. I would also be happy to make this into a PDF file which I am sure if given to Eamonn , he would put the file in tech tips. Where it could easily be found. All that is needed is help from you all. If you have a stud you can measure, just give us the part number and size. I think most will be 26 TPI that take a nut, threads into alloy 20 TPI. Rob.

I am not sure this is totally correct?? all of my 5/16" studs that screw into alloy are BSF both ends which for that size is 22 TPI (rocker cover is a good example) 3/8" studs are also BSF but these are 20 TPI. Don't know where the 20 TPI comes from for a 5/16" stud as BSW (which they didn't use anyway) is 18 TPI, BSF is 22 and BSC is 26 for that size. My cradle studs are also BSF but maybe they could have been changed at some point

Paul's right, 5/16" BSF is 22 tpi. It must be a mistake in the parts list.

Paul / All , Here's a PDF of from 1960 light weights stud & bolts from 1960 parts list. IT should cover most for all LW years /models. I have added notes of some sizes shown in other AMC literature. We just need help to fill gaps, then produce a tidy file. There's no need a file of washers or nuts, where used they will be same dia / thread as stud or bolt dia thread. When submitting a size please state pt. no. & sizes.
I have turned the pages sideways in the PDF file so they will print out full A4 landscape ( instead of a small strip in the middle of an A4 portrait page. It will be difficult to read the PDF file sideway unless you rotate them back again.

I have now made notes on some bolt sizes Dave some of those are 22 TPI. Parts list do state 20 TPI, so must have been a parts list error.
