Is this a chat room?

Being a member for some years I have watched this forum with great interest, but I have seen it develope to something I don´t like.
As the headline for this forum says it should be a forum with "Helpful information".
There should of course also be room for a funny remark or two, but when you begin writing topics just to increase the score I believe it has gone too far!
I hereby encourage the webmaster to remove the counter!
I belive it is a good thing that we have the option to E-mail directly to each other if the remarks might only have interest for a few persons. (Of coures it does not increase the score!)

As Ib has re-iterated above, this area of the forum is primarily for those seeking help and those providing it.

Please refrain from the general chat in this area since it does make searching for information much easier if you don't have to read through the 'banter'.
