Colour for Matchless G2
Has anybody got any suggestions as to what car colour paint would be a good match for the Matchless red?

Re: Colour for Matchless G2
I assume the bike is a G2 not a G2CSR, if a late G2CSR the red colour that looks like metallic would be difficult to match.
My G2CSR had worn paintwork which seemed to suggest the tank was sprayed silver, then had a light thin coating of red and perhaps clear, The thin coat made the finish look metallic, although quite different from todays solid metallic finish achieved.

Sorry Rob didn't make that quite clear my G2 is a 1961 model, should it be the darker red?
