Hi I wonder if any of you know where i can get a paint scheme for a 1956 G11.

Hi, just logged on to this site for the first time and I see no one has replied to your query. I have a very informative book on AJS @ Matchless restoration which gives all the paint schemes. If you have not sorted it out yet I can have a look for you.

I`ve had a look in my book and it should be Black !!! There do not appear to be any other choices.

The '56 G11 had a maroon[red?]/chrome tank, as were the wheel centres. G80's and G3's exported to Lars' homeland would also have this colour scheme. have a browse through the gallery Lars
