Would love to get some information on my Dads old bike. He is now 84 and suffering from Alzhimers. We have been talking about his AJS he took part in road trials etc

KUL was used May to Sept 1949, so I guess it will be a 1949 bike. I assume its an AJS or Matchless but you don't say.

Its an AJS> I overlooked that. Cannot assume its a comp bike thought, so pic or machine numbers still needed.
Its a Central London number, so you could try them for info VRO 1 Zoar Street, London, SE1 0SY

Thanks to all for the replies, yes it is an AJS 350 or 500 I would think. My Dad lived in Erith, kent. He rode for Erith Mcc. Don't think it would be a competition bike, looks like standard road bike.

I will see him the weekend and get some more information.

I will try and post Photos asap

Or just join, you will get your monies worth just in information and help, not to mention a good mag every month, money off spares (for an extra one off £10 fee!) and you can post as many pics as you like. As a guest you have a limited posting allocation and use of the forum. A digital membership (digital mag only) is only £22 a year..
