Re: P11 and others
Thank you John, I am very disappointed that you cannot find a good publisher. I want your P11 book!
Are there a frame numbers that can be associated with P11 RGO 45E and P11A RJD 45E?
What issue of Hot Rod carries the P11 ?
The Cheetah was posing for 1967 Cycle World P11 photos.....seems there were a lot of Cheetah vehicles in the 60's and 70's, at least in the USA.
the video from the 8mm would be great for utube if possible.
What can we, as the general readership, do to help you publish this long needed book?
Thanks
Craig

Thanks John, I did have success on Ebay and based on your description I did find one issue of Hot Rod July 1967 that has one article with photos.
We need to find you a USA publisher.

I must admit I speak from ignorance but would it not be possible to produce as an ebook? It's very easy to convert Word. HTML etc to the mobi format as used by Kindles.

Re: P11 and others
The person who should have been asked about the G85cs scrambler and frame is Vic Eastwood who helped to design along with Johnny Mclaren in the comp shop , they made the very first one and Vic rode it......I did ask him a lot of years ago and got the right story.....so no speculation needed in that respect.....and if I could find out how to post a photo on here I would show it

A close inspection of 'Easy Rider' will show Dennis Hopper riding up to a bar on a P11 with scrambler pipesJohn Donne wrote: A P11 was also featured in the movie On any Sunday if you slow down the film you can see it being ridden up a hill. A P11 was als featured on the cover of a rock LP.
Did you know about that one, Tony?

Re: P11 and others
The Motor Cycle picture set is good 1967 information for early P11 restoration.... all photos of RGO45E
headlamp cover is quite distinctive.
Was this checkerboard cover an available accessory in the UK for headlamp protection? details? still available?
Tax disc, rear number plate, cable ties, etc......good photo set.
