Re: rear light
Lucas L529 is pt. no. 023287, the club spares list states will fit lightweights. Repro's of this lamp are available from club spares.
Although I did think lightweights were all Wipac electrics..

Re: rear light
The rear light unit fitted to the lightweights was Wipac S179. It was also fitted to some of the AMC James and Francis Barnett models. So far as I know, replicas are not now manufactured but originals sometimes turn up at autojumbles and on eBay.

Re: rear light
They were the 3 bulb rear lamps with separate tail and stop lamps but are now obsolete with no replica's as far as I know. The modern replacement has the more conventional stop/tail single bulbPhamiltoneddy wrote:The rear light unit fitted to the lightweights was Wipac S179. Re: rear light
Due to no replicas of the correct Wipac lamp, this is probably why club spares are suggesting what I stated above

I don't think I've every seen one of those. It's very ugly.borrowashboy wrote:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/260938404773? ... 156wt_1161
