Thanks for all the advice and help. Still haven't managed to forward a photo from the "pictures" site - I'm getting old I suppose. To those of you who have taken a look, are the front forks and wheel BSA? They don't seem right to me but I'm no expert.
I got it on e-bay, didn't mean to buy a 4th bike but it looked nice and no-one was bidding. Looks as if it will be ok, cetainly rides nicely. I've relined the clutch, sorted the valve lifter and nearly got the carburation right. No nasty noises from the motor as yet. Shall need to replace the fibreglass tank.
Looking forward to meeting some of you next year,
