While there is a little Harris activity (thanks Iain), does anyone know of a Wiring Diagram for the Electric Start bikes. Got a new electric start engine as the old one didn't bode well after a 6 year lay-up and being 'Looked after' by a 'friend', the total cost of parts needed was the same as a new donk with coil and CDI thrown in.

BACK on LINE at LAST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well the Wiring diagram is as you say only for NON Elecric start models.
I am sure its not to hard to fit a Starter Solinoied and a starter button on the bike ?.With a Heavy load carrying cable from the Battery to the Starter motor ?.
I will keep trying toget more info .
Sorry i cannot help any more .

Thanks Rex, I have it all wired up and running. I thought a wiring diagram would show how to rig the start button to the key, its now independent to the ignition system.

Cheers Pete

Great Hope you enjoy all the Gear Changing this bike needs ?. I found as others have said you have to changedown as soon as the Rev,s drop.not like the Earlier AMC engines with more Pulling power lower down the Revrange.
Road holding is GOODetc so that giver ENJOYMENT to any ride .
