Spot on Duncan, I have exactly the same set-up. Wiring on old bikes is notoriously fickle, I wouldn't put my trust in electrickery.

I've had mine fitted for a couple of years now without any problems , but the lever as supplied is cast metal not plastic , and I allways check return oil flow before riding off .
