Seat springs
I have a 1950 G3L, the seat springs fitted, which could be original measure 1.9" Diameter by 5.5" long, a spare pair I plan using are 1.85" Diameter x 6.25" long.

Seat springs
Swinging arm ones are only about 3 1/2 to 4 inches, otherwise the seat looks stupid!

Seat springs
My originals are 3 1/8" long by around 1 7/8" O.D. (spring frame)
Probably sagged a bit with my weight! though there is plenty of adjustment on the height adjusting screws to get the saddle level.
Ridgids have longer springs.
