Classic bike paint colours

Post by Ozmadman »

Hi

I have just found this site that can provide the correct colour for your bike. just put in a few details and hey presto! the correct colour. I found the correct colour for my 1960 Mod 8 is Mediteranian Blue Candy yet the 1961 version is Blue(light sky blue shade), didn't even know there were two blue colours for that bike.
Anyway give it a try

Very interesting. Apparently my bike would originally have been a rather unusual shade called "Black". Must have been a limited production run for a special occasion of some sort I guess

The trouble with the modern black colours is that they are not as black as they were 30 plus years ago.
