Made the mandrel on my lathe, as described by Itma, and it worked a treat.
Was a little worried squeezing the brass bush which was 5 thou bigger than the con rod hole into which it was being squeezed.
Now the bush is squeezed in the gudgeon pin wont fit into the bush, which i now realise is as things should be. hence the need to now ream the bush.
Can i now get some advice for dummies on reaming ie which one do i need, are the adjustable ones ok. And are the eay to use?
If anyone needs to borrow the mandrel let me know.

adjustable reamer, but gently, gently, will do it
keep it square, and in case you don't know, never turn a reamer backward to remove it.
